Orientation Schedule and A Few Reminders!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying a fun and restful summer! The week after next, you all will be volunteering with Orientation at school. Here is your assigned dates and times:

Make sure you wear your jersey and shorts and cheer shoes!!!

Monday, August 8
(8am-10am): Carrie and Taylor M.
(10:30am-12:30pm): Taylor Cogdill and Alexis
(2:00pm-4:00pm): Danielle and Abby

Tuesday, August 9
(8am-10am): Angel and Kaitlin
(10:30am-12:30pm): Brandi and Brooke
(2:00pm-4:00pm): Alyssa and Layton

Wednesday, August 10
(8am-10am): Tierra and Domonique
(10:30am-12:30pm): Charnissa and Amoni
(2:00pm-4:00pm): Abby and Holly

Thurday, August 11
(5:30pm-7:30pm): Jourdin, Nylah, and Taylor Creel

Friday, August 12
(5:30pm-7:30pm): Megan, Maya, and Jessica

If there are any discrepancies with the time and date that you have been assigned please call Ms. Shorter or Mrs. Bryant

REMINDERS:

• Make sure you are selling your Ads!!! Your ads will be due on the first day of school at practice. (If you have run out of ad sheets, you will need to get with a teammate to make more copies.) EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SELLING ADS. IF YOU DON'T SELL ANY, THERE WILL BE SOME REPERCUSSIONS.




• Please remind your parents that there are NO ACTIVITY BUSES this year and that they are responsible for making sure you get home safely from practices this year. (A letter will be sent home)

  Practices this year will be on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:45pm-4:15pm

CHEER CAMP Day 1-2

Hey Ladies,
I hope you all are enjoying the rest of your summer! School will be back in before you know it so soak up the sun now!

Despite the minor challenges we had, you all did a phenomenal job at camp and we are very proud of you! As promised here are some of the pictures from last week's camp.

But first... A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2011-2012 Captain and Co-Captain: Brandi & Carrie! We look forward to this year with you two as our captains!!!

Ok now on to the camp pics from day 1 and 2...

So our adventure started off a little rocky with our bus breaking down half way to camp...O_o

But we made it safely to the World Golf Village Resort in St. Augustine!!!

The Caddy Shack where most of you enjoyed dining each day! DOn't you just love the golf ball through the wall!!!??


The actual resort was the Renaissance...more pics of the interior to come in the next post!

I'm sure you guys are excited about camp next week! As promised here is the list of things to bring:

CHEER ATTIRE: Bring new Cheer Shoes and white ankle socks!!!

Day #1: Pink shorts w/"Cheerleaders Just Wanna Have Fun" top

Day #2: Red shorts w/ "Live, Love Cheer" top

Day #3: Cheer Jersey w/ Black Shorts

Day #4: Uniforms: Varsity (spandex)/JV (halter) You will also be wearing this to perform the home dance routine on night 2.

Domonique will be bringing blue/zebra print bows for everyone!!!

  This year at camp is a new Beach Bash Pep Rally on the second night of camp. There will be UCA performances, hula hoop contests, limbo contests, team relay races, lip synching, and a Beach Club Dance at the end. Bring colorful clothing for this event.

Everyone must ride back to school with us on the bus. We should arrive back to First Coast High no later than 2:00pm on Thurday, July 14, 2011
