CHANGE IN CAMP DATES


Due to a possibility of us having to go back to work the week we intended to have camp in August, we have to change the dates of camp.  Here are the new dates of camp events:

Thursday, July 12, 2012:  Practice at FCHS track from 2:00pm-5:00pm

Monday & Tuesday July 16-17:  Cheer Camp for JV and Varsity @ River City All-stars Gym 8:00am-4:00pm
                                                    (4476 Duval Pl W Ste 201, Jacksonville, FL 32218)  
                                                     LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED
Thursday, July 19, 2012: Cheer Camp Continued Competition Squad only 
                                        (Cheerleaders will find out on the first day of camp if they are on the comp. squad)

We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.  As of right now, the dates and times for practices in August will remain the same.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

We will be at school Monday and Tuesday for you to turn in the money for these items and pick up the cheer DVD (New cheerleaders).

This week In Cheer!



Hi Everyone!

Great Job on the Krispy Kreme Sales!  Let's keep this motivation up ALL YEAR!!!  Here are the updates for this week in cheer!

1.) Ad Sales:   Remember each cheerleader is responsible for selling at least $300.00 worth of ads this summer.  The ads and ad money will be due the first day of school during practice. TIP: When going around asking for ads sponsors, please wear Cheer leading Jerseys or some type of cheer or First Coast paraphernalia so the sponsors will feel more comfortable sponsoring an ad.  Also, please remember to ask football players, band & auxillary (dancers) members as well.  

REMINDER:  The cheerleader with the most ads sold will be crowned Miss or Mr. Cheerleader at Homecoming!!!

2.)  Optional Cheer Items:  Please have your parents call or email me if you're  interested in purchasing the additional Blue Jersey which is the same as the returning girls jersey from last year ($65.00) and/or the make-up Kit ($25.00).  We want to place this order as soon as possible so please let me know by the Friday (June 8).  We will need to place the order before we go on summer break next Tuesday.  Once I have compiled a list of those wanting the jersey and/or make-up kits I will email the list and inform parents of when we can meet to collect the money (Next Monday or Tuesday).

3.) New Cheerleaders Only:  Please come by the school before 11:30am next Monday or Tuesday to pick up the cheer DVD.  Practice all of the cheers on this DVD and be prepared to show what you know at the first practice August 2, 2012.
