Here is an update of what's to come for the remainder of the year:

* Monday, December 6, 2010: Basketball Game @ 7:30

* Thursday, December 9, 2010: Practice ( Meet at the track to run your mile at 2:40 then meet in Ms. Bryant's Room I202 by 3:00pm for practice) Practice will end at 4:00pm

* Saturday, December 11, 2010: Pep Rally meet at school by 1:45pm. If you cannot attend have your parent email or call Ms. Shorter otherwise you are expected to be in attendance. Wear your jersey with a white long sleeve shirt underneath and jeans. Bring poms!

Monday, December 13, 2010: Christmas Social @ Olive Garden in RiverCity at 6:00pm dress nice and dont forget to bring your Secret Santa gift.

WHATS GOING ON THIS WEEK AT FCHS!

Hello Ladies,

Thank you to all who participated in the Breast Cancer walk last saturday! Taylor M., Taylor C., Kaitlin, Chelsea, Jordan, Brooke R, Brooke O., and Tylar! Kudos ladies (and a merit)!

I hope all of you are doing well on your finals this week....we're definitely going to be looking at report cards next week. Just a gentle reminder you must MAINTAIN a 2.0 GPA!!!

This week is JV's last game and you are wearing your halter top uniforms.

Varsity will be wearing the metallic uniform on Friday for the game against Middleburg. JV must also attend the game with your blue and black uniform to sell the remaining ad booklets.

In Case You Were Wondering...

Practice for Wednesday has been cancelled for re-evaluation. Please be at the track READY for practice on Thursday at 2:40pm sharp!

There is no JV game this week.

The Varsity game is at Andrew Jackson at 7:00pm. Wear the Spandex uniform.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K (3.2 miles) is this saturday. We will meet at the school at 7:45am and car pool to the walk.. It begins at San Marco square at 9:00am. Let me know on Thursday whether or not you'll be attending. Wear you Jersey.

Hey Ladies!

We will not have practice on Wednesday this week but practice will be extended an hour on Thursday. Be prepared to stay until 5:20pm. JV make sure you bring your uniforms to change into for the JV game against Camden County. You are wearing your blue and black uniform.

HEY GIRLS!!!!

Hi Ladies!

Good job Friday night! Just a quick reminder to bring your uniforms on Monday to take pictures. We will meet in the front of the school AGAIN!!!! If you miss out this time, you just miss out!

Homecoming is right around the corner so lets stay focused and keep practicing hard so you can look good October 1st.

Another reminder if you have demerits, an extra mile at practice = 1 less demerit!!!! I'm JUST SAYING!!!

Here's a list of things we have coming up:
September 25- Beg-A-Thon in front of Publix 9am-2pm. (We will have shifts) more info to come this week in practice.

October 1- HOMECOMING!!! We have a parade after school and then the big game that night!

October 16- Breast Cancer Walk 5K - We will be walking in support of breast cancer awareness.

It's time for us to start giving back to the community so I will soon be letting you all know about community service projects we'll be involved in this year.

HAPPY LABOR DAY!

Hey Ladies!

Happy Labor Day! I hope you are all enjoying your day off. Unfortunately we will not have practice until Thursday afternoon. Wednesday is an early release and we can't have it this Tuesday.

You all did a fantastic job on Friday night! Keep it up throughout the entire season.

If you have ad money to turn in, please stop by my room after school, NOT during school because we are testing this week and I will not be in there.

Just a reminder if you did not sell any ads you are getting demerits and will have to pay out of pocket for the things we have coming up. You had the entire summer to sell ads and it will not be fair for you to reap the benefits of your team mates' hard work. :)

Well enough of that...

PRACTICES
This is just a reminder that practice will be on Mondays, Thursdays, and non-early release Wednesdays from now on from 2:40-4:20pm.

Ladies...PLEASE bring plenty of water to practice tomorrow and Thursday because you've got ALOT of work to do. Make sure that you eat lunch during school as well. All the complaining at practice needs to cease! Please come with the right attitudes ready to work!

FIRST GAME

Time: meet at the 50 yard line at 6:30pm sharp!
Attire: You are wearing the "Buc Head" uniform

AD SALES
Remember ad sales are due on Thursday at practice. If you still have ads to sell, make sure you talk to organization sponsors on campus (i.e. Ladies First, tennis, etc.). I hope you all have sold the amount you were required to sell. Remember WE NEED NEW UNIFORMS!

FYI
Some of you have demerits that are racking up quite rapidly. I suggest that you all take a look at the by-laws again and refresh your memories and re-adjust your priorities.

CAMP COUNTDOWN!!!

Hey Ladies!!!

Camp is right around the corner and I know you guys are excited!!! Just a few reminders before we're PANAMA CITY BEACH BOUND!!!

Make sure you bring your signed camp contracts and insurance card copies to practice on Thursday. You will NOT be able to board the bus without these forms.

Make sure to pack everything you'll need for camp. Review the "What To Bring" List.

Don't forget..We are leaving Monday morning at 6:30am SHARP!!! Please show up between 5:45-6:15am.

Also remember breakfast will NOT be provided at camp this year so make sure you bring breakfast with you or extra money to make a breakfast run when we get to town.

REMINDER

Hi Ladies!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far! I just wanted to remind you all to make sure you're selling your ads and practicing your cheers. We begin summer practices in 2 weeks on Monday, July 19 at 9:30 am. Please be prepared. We will be discussing a lot and I will be handing out a lot of information. Please be on time with lots of water and be ready to get to work. :) I will announce then when we'll be having our parent meeting for camp. Enjoy your time off!

Greetings Everyone!

It's the last week of school!!! YAAAAYYY!!! I hope you all have a wonderful summer! Here are a few reminders.

1.) Try to make healthy choices and continue to condition on your own.
2.) SELL YOUR ADS ($300)!!!! Don't forget to pick up an ads sheet from me on WED!
3.) Practice all of the cheers and dance! Pick up the DVD from me on WED! Don't forget! I will expect for everyone to know the cheers by our first practice!
4.) Start getting the things you'll need for camp together. I will post a list of items you'll need within the next few weeks.
5.) We will also be having a mandatory parent/cheerleader meeting in July to discuss camp. I will let you all know the date, time, and place as soon as I find out.
6.) Be on time to our first summer practice at 9:00am, Monday, July 19,2010. BRING WATER AND MAKE SURE YOU'VE EATEN A HEALTHY BREAKFAST! We will meet at the track. Be ready to SWEAT!!!

That's all I have for now. Do well on your finals and remember if your GPA falls below standard, you and I will have to have a talk...DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!! (But I'm confident it won't be necessary! ;)

This Thursday instead of a practice we will be having a very important meeting in my room (Q201) at 2:40pm. It is mandatory for all of you to be in attendance for this meeting. I will be handing out information and going over important information for summer practices and camp. Please be there on time. Ladies don't forget First Coast will be seeing the 2010-2011 Cheerleaders for the first time at the Spring Jamboree Thursday, May 27th at 6:00pm.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND CHEERLEADERS CAR WASH!!!!

Ladies we will be having a carwash this Saturday at the Chick-Fil-A at RiverCity Market Place! Let all of your friends and family know. We need to raise as much as we can to get to Sunny Panama City this summer.

The price of a carwash will be $5.00 and OFCOURSE we will accept DONATIONS, DONATIONS, DONATIONS!!!!

Ladies wear blue tops and black soffees. NO bikini tops!!! You can wear full bathing suits under the shorts or tank tops/camis.

Be at Chick-Fil-A ready to wash some cars no later than 9:45am. We will be there until 2pm.
Bring a bucket and some old towels. I will bring the soap!

We will need posters so each of you are responsible for one!

It is time to wrap up the year!

On monday there will be a MANDATORY meeting in shorter's room at 2:30

• You must bring you cheerleading uniforms and poms in a bag cleaned to the meeting.
• If you are receiving a lettermen jacket or a blanket you must must must be there for fitting and choosing.
• If you know you have a Debt on the team then please be aware that it needs to be paid asap!

Our Banquet is scheduled for May 20th

• Location is at the University Club
• Menu will be posted at a later notice
• Time will be announced as well

Relay For life

• Location will be at the school football field
• Time is from 6pm-10pm
• Please wear Warm-up suit with cheerleader zebra shirt and black shorts underneath
• Tennis Shoes is a must because we will be walking for a long period of time.

Shorter needs 7 cheerleaders to volunteer at a wedding on May 1st

• Yes it is the day of prom so it needs to be underclassmen

Their will be a homework assignment given to EVERY cheerleader on monday at practice. You will have one week to complete it. Failure to do so with result in 1 demerit. There adding up girls so don't take the chance. Also their will be a brief meeting to announce a situation at hand. Not bad just something that needs to be informed to everyone.
